It’s true to say that in recent times everyone has had to make some significant adjustments to their way of life, and it is certainly testing the resilience of many.
If you add this to any underlying issues, life can seem overwhelming at times. The message is always to reach out and ask for help, whether from a friend, family, or a professional. No one should suffer in silence.
I’m Mitika Goolry Fowler and I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist specialising in both short-term crisis help and long term counselling to work on deep rooted issues.
Where a professional, like myself comes in as that I work on the problems with you to find a way forward. I’m not just a sympathetic ear, my aim is to get you through what’s troubling you and stop any reoccurrence in the future.

There's no general roadmap to recovery as everyone is different so it's all about understanding and this often starts with your understanding as you probably don't know why you feel like you do. You may well be feeling sad, depressed or anxious, have relationship or family issues or an eating disorder, but the question is why?
It's when you understand the why that you get to a deeper understanding of yourself and can begin to make informed descisions and choices. You can then begin to feel more in charge and in control as you move forward to where you want to be.
You may not realise it but you've already taken the first step on the road to recovery.
