About Mitika Goolry Fowler - UKCP, MBACP
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering therapy to people suffering with psychological or emotional problems.
I provide short-term therapy which usually involves 6 to 12 sessions aimed at focusing on the immediate difficulties and issues.
I also provide longer-term and open-ended therapy aimed at facilitating change at a deeper level, by working on the long-standing and entrenched patters of behaviours that unconsciously get repeated and impact your everyday life.
I speak fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi with counselling sessions carried out in your preferred language.
I currently work in private practice where I see clients from all walks of life.
I have previously worked within secondary care NHS where I provided psychodynamic psychotherapy to patients referred for complex, non-psychotic psychological problems. I have also worked within a specialist NHS psychotherapy service for women where I provided therapy to women who had experienced childhood sexual abuse and trauma.
